Songs From Euphoria Season 2 That You Should Add To Your Playlist

Songs From Euphoria Season 2 That You Should Add To Your Playlist

The high-school set show Euphoria is currently one of the most popular television shows and it’s easy to see why. Everything about the show is visually pleasing, from the costumes to the cinematography and especially the music. The soundtrack itself is a huge part of what makes the show so intriguing. So without further ado, here are six songs from Euphoria season 2 for you to add to your playlist and live out your Euphoria high school dreams ✨

1. Dead of Night – Orville Peck (Episode 1)

This song has been on my playlist since the exact moment I heard it in the season 2 premiere. The song plays in a pretty tense moment where Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) and Nate (Jacob Elordi) are driving to a New Year’s Eve Party together. However, the song itself is super slow and almost haunting which I think matches the scene perfectly.

2. Nate Growing up – Labrinth (Episode 1)

This song is on the list because the context in which it’s played is so well done. Originally played in season one during a scene of Nate’s childhood, this original score produced for the show plays again when we first see Nate in season 2 is the ultimate full circle. The song itself is upbeat yet slow at the same time, definitely perfect to add to your chill vibes playlist.

3. Mount Everest – Labrinth (Episode 2)

Labrinth does it again with Mount Everest, giving off the most immaculate vibes. This banger is great to listen to in the car with friends on the way to a night out, has a great energy and will get you hyped up.

4. It Ain’t Over ‘Til It’s Over – Lenny Kravitz (Episode 3)

An absolute classic and I’m sure most people heard this song way before Euphoria was even a thing. Nonetheless, it is still one of the most relaxed songs around and perfect to add to your chill vibes playlist, or to listen to on your daily walk.

5. Stand By Me – Ben E. King (Episode 6)

A favourite of mine, this song blends in well with the story of Euphoria. It’s considered the soundtrack for Lexie (Maude Apatow) and Fez (Angus Cloud) – my two favourite characters. Whenever I hear Stand By Me, I think of them and it makes me ship them so much more than I already do.

6. Holding out for a Hero – Bonnie Tyler (Episode 7)

I’m not going to lie, I originally knew this song from Shrek 2 but honestly, it works equally as well in Euphoria. Played during Lexi’s play when Ethan (Austin Abrams) is mocking Nate, the scene gives me classic high school theatre vibes and is definitely a song that would’ve been used if this play took place in a real life.

With the Euphoria season 2 sound track providing the absolute goods, we can’t wait to see what season 3 has in store!
