Have you ever gone to KFC and thought, “you know what would make this food taste better? If I sat in a fancy restaurant and it was served to me in 11 courses”. Well, now it can be.
KFC has announced its first-ever degustation pop-up restaurant in Sydney and it looks absolutely finger-licking good. Opening in Sydney on April 1st, the 11-course meal will pay homage to KFC classics, such as their famous herbs and spices and classic KFC dishes we all know and love.
Among the 11 courses, customers will be served potato buns with a gravy candle that melts into a dipping sauce, popcorn chicken served with mushroom gnocchi, and of course a classic chocolate mousse for dessert. The degustation is made in collaboration with top chef Nelly Robinson, owner of Nel Restaurant in Sydney. The presentation of the food looks just as amazing as the food itself, complete with a dish presented in the shape of Colonel Sanders, the king of fried chicken.
Along with the food, diners can also enjoy a complimentary wine flight that KFC has coined ‘Liquid Seasoning’.
Honestly, what’s better than fried chicken paired complimentary with a nice wine? Literally nothing.
The event runs from April 1-3, with diners able to make bookings for groups of two or four. So bring along your partner, best friend, or all of your fellow chicken connoisseurs and make a night of it.
While the degustation is only running for three nights at this stage, hopefully, it will become a permanent KFC dining option in the future, so fried chicken fans from all over the world can enjoy their favourite food in a five-star restaurant setting.

The experience costs $75 per person with all proceeds going to the KFC Youth Foundation. Book your tickets for the pop-up degustation here.
