If there’s one thing missing in Australia’s fast-food outlets, it’s a decent fried chicken burger.
Hold your horses! Hungry Jack’s has unveiled three new burgers featuring a ‘thick’ fried whole-breast chicken fillet in a brioche bun in three different varieties. The fried chicken burger will be available in classic, spicy and cheesy bacon!
‘Jack’s Fried Chicken’ range has taken two years to bring to market, promising “bigger, crunchier and juicier” burgers than its competitors. The launch comes as new research found more than 2.2 million Aussies eat fried chicken several times a week or at least once a day.
The research taken by YouGov found that 48 per cent of Australian’s would give up a good night’s sleep, their partner or even sex just for a decent fried chicken burger!
Hungry Jack’s said the fried chicken underwent two years of testing, trialing the burger in 10 stores across the country for the last few months before the national launch.
The new fried chicken burger range is now available from Hungry Jack’s stores for pick-up in-store, collect at drive-thru or order online for delivery on the chain’s App or through meal delivery services.
